SzeretLak - chance for safety, independent life
A special residental home opens its gates in Kaposszekcső.
Finishing the works at the end of summer SzeretLak ensures independent life for 12 handicapped people.
Families are kindly and continously accepted in the home from January.
Every parent would like to care about his, her own child. As long as he can he holds his hands and when the child becomes an adult, the parents let him- them go and watches his independent steps in the world.
The parents of the children living with any kind of disability feel the same as well. However, their children rarely get a chance for an independent life because in Hungary there is only a few residental home with small dwelling capacity where they can be together with their own age groups finding friends and home when their parents and relatives will be older, elder.
The residental home called SzeretLak is building from privat resources in Kaposszekcső in Tolna country.
The dreamer of the home is a father, Teibert Csaba who primarily would like to let his 23-year old son to know in safety. His son is currently living in a temporary home where residents can stay for 2 years only so this cannot be considered a definite solution. He felt he takes the control of that project on his own hands and he creates such home for his son where besides the continous nursing-caring supervision he will be able to live worthily and eloquently way of life beyond demanding conditions in the future. The reconstruction of the house (building) will be finishing at the end of this summer, residents can move into the house from January.
In SzeretLak 12 young people can live without any time limit. Their lives will be helped by 4-5 nurses and caregivers. The home’s official operator will be our charity called Kerekesszabadság Alapítvány, all the electronic devices and equipments will be ensured by the Euronics Műszaki Áruházlánc. The TIENS Hungary Kft. will donate healthcare devices for health protection for the residents of the SzeretLak in the wealth of 1000000 Ft contributing to the maintanance of healthy conditions and to the broadening of the rehabilitational facilities. Our charity is looking for the application of families who are raising their handicapped children in the families but would like to find a safety home for them where they can live amoung young people with similar health conditions.
“We are looking for such parents who would like to take care about their handicapped childrens’ lives even when their parents are alive so that they could be able to choose the home and not the guardianship the young people to somewhere in the country where there is a free place at that time:”
– said Teibert Csaba, the establisher of SzeretLak.
